Curves has established an enviable reputation for supporting charities. During the past year, the club and all its members have worked tirelessly for charities, locally and nationally, raising phenomenal amounts of cash.

Pants Pads & £1 Appeal for Feed The Children

On behalf of Feed The Children, I would like to express my sincere thanks to you, the staff and members at Curves Hall Green & Curves Bromsgrove for the wonderful donations of Pants, Pads and the collection of £156.00 recently received on my visit.  Your members kind donations are very gratefully received and they will shortly be shipped by container to some of the worlds most vulnerable children and their families at our projects. Items like the ones your members have donated will be a luxury that some of these girls and women will not have been able to obtain simply because they are to poor or the items are unavailable in the area’s where they live. We are so very lucky to have the option of having these items available to us, and probably fetch them without even thinking about it.  If you are a woman just about to give birth in Africa, the chances of you picking up an infection are greatly increased by not having  access to clean pants and pads.  Girls just reaching puberty miss one week in 4 of their education, and a poorly educated girl doesn’t have the advantage of being able to make good choices for her future family. Please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone concerned who assisted with the appeal in any way.
